“Bailey agreed to help me out with my 8 month old Weimer. She was literally tearing the house and furniture apart, jumping and biting and actually hurting us. House training was out of the question. Then I found Bailey. He did what I thought impossible. After training (4weeks seemed like 4 ever), Opal…my precious puppy, returned on a leash…without any signs of distress and walking with Bailey. Not just walking, if he stops she stops, if he turns she turns. It’s amazing! I received videos of their progress every week and I could watch her and Bailey training together. Of course I was worried, but the texts, calls and videos always put my worries aside. I can’t be more grateful. Oh…Bailey also had to train me on what Opal learned!! I rarely have to call Bailey and he still reaches out to check our progress. I highly recommend Bailey, He’s a life changer.”

What Pearl owners call about
The two ends of the spectrum. On one side, puppies and adolescent dogs tearing up the house, jumping, and biting. On the other, dogs whose fear of people has turned into defensive aggression. Both start with a free evaluation at your home and a plan built around your dog and your household.
Where We Train in Pearl
Cavender's
The pet-friendly western store across from Bass Pro, and one of Bailey's regular stops. Narrow aisles, racks of clothes, boots, and shoppers make it a great place to practice a loose-leash heel. That's Bailey heeling a border collie through Cavender's in the photo above.
Outlets of Mississippi
Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome on the outdoor walkways and in select stores. Crowds, strollers, and other dogs make it one of the best public-manners tests in the metro.
Bass Pro Shops
Next to the Outlets. Leashed dogs are welcome inside, and the aquariums, mounted animals, carts, and strangers make it a serious impulse-control workout.
Bright Park
A pet-friendly park with a walking trail, a pond, and open green space. Quieter than the Outlets, with waterfowl for distraction work.
Pearl Walking Park loop
A one-mile loop that welcomes leashed dogs, good for building loose-leash walking before moving to busier places.
Tractor Supply on Highway 80
A farm store with strong smells and livestock supplies, a different kind of distraction than a mall.
Pearl Dogs We've Worked With
Opal: an eight-month-old Weimaraner
Opal was tearing the house and furniture apart, jumping, and biting hard enough to hurt. After a four-week board and train with weekly videos, she came home walking calmly on a leash, stopping when her handler stops and turning when he turns.
Buddy: a rescue who bit a family member
Found as a stray at nine months old, Buddy was sweet with his family but terrified of strangers and defensive with them, and he bit a family member. Training focused just as much on his family: handling, preventing reactions, calm walks, and getting Buddy to look to them instead of reacting.
Distraction work for a dog that goes everywhere
His owner wanted a dog that listens anywhere. Two months of twice-weekly sessions built long-duration, long-distance, and high-distraction obedience.
What Pearl Families Say
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend Bailey with Clark’s Canine Training We reached out to Bailey Clark after a frightening and unexpected situation when our dog Buddy bit a family member. Buddy was a stray my daughter found at around 9 months old. He had always been incredibly sweet and cuddly with us, but he was terrified of other people and often reacted with aggression and defensiveness toward strangers. Buddy was a challenge, to say the least — but Bailey met that challenge with patience, skill, and compassion. He didn’t just work diligently with Buddy; he worked just as intentionally with us. Bailey taught us how to properly handle and train Buddy, how to prevent aggressive reactions, how to walk him calmly and obediently at our side, and how to help Buddy focus on us for guidance and approval instead of immediately reacting to people around him. Buddy did not make the process easy, but the transformation has been nothing short of amazing — not only in Buddy’s behavior, but in how we understand, communicate with, and support him. Bailey truly changed our lives by helping us build trust, confidence, and clarity with our dog. I cannot recommend Bailey and Clark’s Canine Training enough. He didn’t just help Buddy — he helped us, and that made all the difference.”
“I can’t recommend this dog training business enough! My main goal was to have my dog listen to my commands so that he could confidently go anywhere with me, and this trainer helped me achieve exactly that. Over the course of two months, with training twice a week, we worked on consistency in long-duration training, long distance training, and high distraction training and the progress has been incredible. The trainer offers great prices and flexible scheduling, which made it easy to commit to the program. What stood out the most was the level of support: I could even make phone calls after hours whenever I needed extra help! Each session included detailed teaching, in person examples, and great recommendations on the best training equipment. I also appreciated the in depth explanations about how dogs think and operate, it gave me a whole new understanding of my dog’s behavior. Because of this training, I can now truly communicate with my dog, and I feel closer to him than ever before. If you’re looking for someone who is thorough, supportive, and truly invested in helping you succeed with your dog, this is the trainer to go to!”
