Travel and Location Questions

Do you charge a travel fee?

In-home lessons and evaluations across Brandon, Flowood, Pearl, Rankin County, and the Jackson metro are our standard service. For locations farther out, we will tell you up front whether in-home lessons are practical or whether board and train is the better option.

I live outside the Jackson metro. Can you still help?

Yes. Board and train is designed for exactly that: your dog stays with Bailey near Brandon and you make one trip for drop-off and one for the go-home lessons. Virtual coaching is also available for everyday obedience and puppy planning.

Do you take board-and-train dogs from out of state?

Yes. Out-of-state families drop off at the start of the program and come back for the go-home lessons at the end. Plan to stay in a hotel or Airbnb near Brandon for about four days so you get several hands-on sessions with your dog before the drive home. Drop-off and go-home dates are scheduled around your travel.

Where do evaluations take place?

Usually at your home, because that is where the behavior lives. If you are outside the area, we can arrange to meet near Brandon or start with a phone consultation.

Do you have a facility I can bring my dog to?

Training is based at Bailey's home outside Brandon and in real-world locations rather than a storefront. Board-and-train dogs live in the house as part of the household, not in a kennel; the location is shared when you book.
