Sound Familiar?

You Love Your Dog. But Right Now, Life With Them is Exhausting.

These are the exact struggles we hear from dog owners every single day. If any of these hit home, keep reading.

Every Walk is a Battle

Your dog pulls so hard your shoulder aches. They lunge at other dogs, bikes, joggers—anything that moves. You've started avoiding walks altogether.

The Public Embarrassment

Other dog owners cross the street when they see you coming. You've stopped going to parks. You make excuses to avoid situations where your dog might act out.

Money Down the Drain

You've already spent hundreds on trainers who gave you a clicker and some treats. Online courses that didn't work. YouTube videos that contradicted each other.

The Mental Exhaustion

You're constantly managing, constantly on edge, constantly anticipating the next blowup. You're tired of being your dog's crisis manager instead of their owner.

Not Knowing What to Do

One trainer says positive only. Another says be dominant. The internet says both are wrong. You don't know who to trust or what actually works.

The Guilt

You feel like you've failed your dog. You wonder if you're the problem. You've even thought about whether your dog would be better off with someone else.

Our Approach

Balanced Training That Actually Works

We don't just use treats and hope for the best. We use a balanced approach—positive reinforcement combined with appropriate corrections—to address the root cause of your dog's behavior. Not just the symptoms.

“If you are struggling with your dog, I cannot emphasize enough to please contact and consult Clark's Canine Training! Reaching out to Bailey was one of the best investments we have ever made. I highly recommend Clark's Canine Training without any reservation! Our 10-month-old, 128-pound Saint Bernard, Barnabas, completely ran the show. He pulled me down twice on two separate occasions at the park, barked ferociously at people, dogs, and just about everything, and even simple outings had become stressful. So we then simply avoided taking him anywhere. We needed a miracle and quickly! Bailey was professional, reliable, knowledgeable, honest, and truly cared about helping us. Thanks to his training, Barnabas now walks calmly beside me allowing me to set the direction and pace of the walk, loads into the Jeep when asked, ignores the geese at the pond, and can go into dog-friendly stores without barking. Most importantly, we have our home and our life back. Barnabas is now a calmer, playful, well-disciplined dog that everyone enjoys being around. Even around our 2-year-old granddaughter, he listens and responds beautifully. Much thanks to Bailey for teaching both Barnabas and myself on how to communicate with each other. There is hope, and the life you envisioned having with your dog can be obtained! Make the call—you will be so glad you did!”

The Trainer Other Trainers Send Their Tough Cases To

My journey into dog training started over five years ago when helping a family member with a difficult dog sent me down the rabbit hole of learning everything I could about training and behavior.

Since then, I've invested thousands of dollars into my education, learned from respected trainers across the country, and worked hands-on with hundreds of dogs and their owners. I walk into every case trying to truly understand that specific dog, because every dog is different, and I don't limit myself to one method when a different approach will help that dog more.

Just as importantly, I train the owner, not just the dog. Whether you choose private lessons or a board-and-train program, I'll make sure you understand how to communicate with your dog and maintain the results long after our time together.

More Training = More Freedom.

“We reached out to Bailey Clark after a frightening and unexpected situation when our dog Buddy bit a family member. Buddy was a stray my daughter found at around 9 months old. He had always been incredibly sweet and cuddly with us, but he was terrified of other people and often reacted with aggression and defensiveness toward strangers. Buddy was a challenge, to say the least — but Bailey met that challenge with patience, skill, and compassion. He didn't just work diligently with Buddy; he worked just as intentionally with us. Bailey taught us how to properly handle and train Buddy, how to prevent aggressive reactions, how to walk him calmly and obediently at our side, and how to help Buddy focus on us for guidance and approval instead of immediately reacting to people around him. Buddy did not make the process easy, but the transformation has been nothing short of amazing — not only in Buddy's behavior, but in how we understand, communicate with, and support him. Bailey truly changed our lives by helping us build trust, confidence, and clarity with our dog. I cannot recommend Bailey and Clark's Canine Training enough. He didn't just help Buddy — he helped us, and that made all the difference.”

“Bailey agreed to help me out with my 8 month old Weimer. She was literally tearing the house and furniture apart, jumping and biting and actually hurting us. House training was out of the question. Then I found Bailey. He did what I thought impossible. After training (4 weeks seemed like 4 ever), Opal…my precious puppy, returned on a leash…without any signs of distress and walking with Bailey. Not just walking, if he stops she stops, if he turns she turns. It's amazing! I received videos of their progress every week and I could watch her and Bailey training together. Of course I was worried, but the texts, calls and videos always put my worries aside. I can't be more grateful. Oh…Bailey also had to train me on what Opal learned!! I rarely have to call Bailey and he still reaches out to check our progress. I highly recommend Bailey, He's a life changer.”

FAQ

Questions You Probably Have

What does 'balanced training' actually mean?

Balanced training means we use both rewards and consequences to clearly communicate with your dog. We reward the behaviors we want and hold dogs accountable for behaviors they already understand but choose not to follow. The goal is not to punish dogs. The goal is to create clear communication, reliability, and a better relationship between you and your dog.

How long does training take?

That depends on the dog, the problems we are working through, your goals, and how consistently the training is maintained at home. Some behaviors improve quickly, while others require more time and repetition. Both private lesson programs and board-and-train stays typically run four to eight weeks. After evaluating your dog, we can recommend the program that makes the most sense for your specific situation.

Do you work with aggressive dogs?

Yes. We work with dogs displaying aggression, reactivity, resource guarding, bite histories, and other serious behavioral problems. Every case is evaluated individually because aggression can have different causes, risks, and realistic outcomes. Our first step is determining what is actually going on and whether we are the right fit for your dog.

How much does training cost?

Pricing depends on the dog, your goals, and the level of training needed. Instead of trying to recommend a program without meeting your dog, we start with a free evaluation so we can understand what you are dealing with and recommend the best option. We also offer third-party financing options for qualified clients who would prefer to break the investment into payments.

What area do you serve?

We are based outside Brandon, Mississippi and primarily serve Brandon, Flowood, Pearl, Rankin County, the Jackson metro area, and surrounding communities. We also regularly work with clients who travel from farther away for training, and board-and-train is a popular option for owners outside the metro.

How do I get started?

The first step is scheduling a free evaluation. We will meet you and your dog, talk through the problems you are having, assess your dog's behavior and temperament, and discuss what you would like life with your dog to look like. From there, we can recommend the training option that makes the most sense for you.
