What to Expect at Your Evaluation

We listen first.
You walk us through what is happening, when it started, what you have tried, and what you want daily life to look like.

We watch your dog.
Bailey observes your dog's temperament, engagement, and how it handles pressure, then tries a few exercises to see how it responds.

We tell you the truth.
You get an honest read on what is driving the behavior, what a realistic outcome looks like, and whether we are the right fit.
- 4
We recommend a program and price.
Board and train, private lessons, or virtual coaching, with a clear plan and cost. You decide from there.
Who should book
- Dogs 6 months and older with behavior that is affecting daily life
- Reactive, fearful, or aggressive dogs, including dogs that have bitten (please tell us in advance)
- Leash pulling, poor recall, jumping, counter surfing, potty issues, and general unruliness
- Owners in Brandon, Flowood, Pearl, Rankin County, and the Jackson metro, plus out-of-area families considering board and train
- Puppy owners who want a plan now and structured training at six months
Response time

Evaluation Questions
Is the evaluation really free?
Yes. There is no charge and no obligation. It is a chance for us to meet your dog and for you to decide whether we are the right fit.
Where does the evaluation happen?
Usually at your home in Brandon, Flowood, Pearl, Rankin County, or the Jackson metro, because that is where we can see the real behavior. Owners outside the area can arrange to meet near Brandon or start with a phone consultation.
How long does it take?
Plan on about an hour. We talk through the history, watch your dog, try a few things, and lay out the options.
What should I have ready?
Your dog on a regular leash and collar, any tools you already use, and honest notes about what is happening, what you have tried, and what you want life with your dog to look like. If your dog has bitten, tell us up front so we can plan a safe introduction.
Will you tell me the price at the evaluation?
Yes. Once we have met your dog we can recommend a specific program and give you the price for it. Third-party financing is available for qualified clients.
